We are delighted to be taking part in the Thy Kingdom Come prayer initiative from 25th May – 4th June 2017
Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement, which invites Christians around the world to pray between Ascension and Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus Christ. What started out as an invitation from the Archbishops’ of Canterbury and York in 2016 to the Church of England, has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.
During the 11 days of Thy Kingdom Come it is hoped that everyone who participates will deepen their friendship with Jesus and come to know that every aspect of their life is the stuff of prayer; and will commit to praying with God’s world-wide family – as a church, individually or as a family.
Archbishop Justin Welby notes:
‘I cannot remember in my life anything that I’ve been involved in where I have sensed so clearly the work of the Spirit’.
Here’s how you can take part at TRINITY:
Sun 21st May 6.30
As a church we will be launching Thy Kingdom Come on Sunday evening 21st May. During the 6.30pm service Dianne will be preaching on the theme of prayer and introducing Thy Kingdom Come.
Wed 24th May 8-9pm Prayer and Praise, Chapter House, where we’ll be praying for our local area
Commit to praying – every day throughout Thy Kingdom Come. We’ll be putting out daily prayer prompts and we want to encourage you to pray right where you are: at work, at school, at home, in the supermarket, wherever God has put you.
List 5 friends – who you will pray for every day to know Jesus.

Beacon event – come to the diocesan beacon event on Sat 3rd June, 7.30pm at Chichester Cathedral and join with others from across the area.
